HJ-BIOANALYTIK, in cooperation with La-Pha-Pack Werner Reifferscheidt GmbH has expanded the “riplate“ system. For all “riplate” microtitreplates we now offer special borosilicate glass inserts with well-known chemical resistance. The glass inserts are closed with polyethylene snap caps. Inside the snap cap there is a 1.9 mm PTFE silicone septum. This pre-cut silicone septum is resealable and easily punctured so pipetting into the glass insert is easy. The pre-cut silicone septum prevents a vacuum from arising during pipetting and has the advantage of an equal volume during sample transfer, which conventional systems do not ensure. The filling volumes of the glass inserts can be seen below.
HJ-BIOANALYTIK announces new products in their range of glass inserts in 96 well formate:
“sealMat” is a 96 well plate sealing mat made from silicone impregnated with a PTFE film. The mat is highly chemical-resistant. The PTFE film is not sprayed on so there is no loss of silicone from the mat when pierced.Order-Information:
