The 'HJ@Piercer' is a fully automatic system for piercing foils on 384 microtitre plates without any contamination.
\nThe 'HJ@Piercer' can be used to pierce our aluminium adhesive foil (part-no. 900310 and sealed by our 'HJ@Sealer' device).
\nThe foils are opened without any parts of the foil sticking into the wells. Because of this, a secure pipetting and dispensing without any restrictions in precision and flow is possible.
\nThe disadvantages of needle piercers are excluded and there is no need for an additional washing cycle.
\nThe 'HJ@Piercer' is operating with a patented 384 well piercing roller.<\/span><\/p>\n

Small footprint:
\n<\/span><\/strong>The 'HJ@Piercer' requires a footprint of 274 mm by 314 mm adjacent the pipetting- or robotic system. The floor space required on the worktable of the robotic system is only slightly larger than the dimensions of the plate itself.<\/span><\/p>\n

Easy to integrate:
\n<\/strong><\/span>The 'HJ@Piercer' can be easily integrated into new and existing pipetting machines and robotic systems. The integration interface is compatible to our other devices.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Software operation:
\n<\/strong><\/span>The 'HJ@Piercer' software is compatible with all Microsoft Windows operating systems starting from Windows XP. The software has a user friendly interface. Diagnostic functions like position detection of the piercing roller allow reliable operation.<\/p>\n

Interface:
\n<\/strong><\/span>The 'HJ@Piercer' is fitted with an USB- as well as an RS232 interface.<\/span><\/p>\n

Piercing roller:
\n<\/strong><\/span>The patented roller is exchangeable. Its position is detected automatically.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fast:
\n<\/strong><\/span>A complete sealing cycle takes about 12 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cost effective:
\n<\/strong><\/span>Convenient initial cost and low integration expenditure.<\/span><\/p>\n
